As many of you are aware, there is a lot of information out there in regards to the corona virus and how it will affect the deadlines to file tax returns for 2019.

At this time the IRS has extended the deadline to pay any tax balance to July 15, 2020.  They have not yet extended the deadline to file.  So at this time, your 2019 Federal tax returns are still due on April 15, 2020.

The CA Franchise Tax Board has extended the deadline to pay and the deadline to file for those quarantined until June 15, 2020.  (For other state requirements and deadlines, please visit that states Department of Revenue website.)

We will therefore remain open at this time to facilitate the filing of your tax forms by the April 15, 2020 deadline.

In order to protect our clients, we are implementing some changes for the rest of this tax season...

1) In addition to our normal cleaning routines, we will be cleaning and wiping down surfaces more often.

2) We have removed all the children's toys from our reception areas as they are more difficult to keep clean.

3) All sign-ins will be handled directly by staff.

4) We we will be opening the third office suite in our building as an additional waiting area in order to provide the recommended 6 ft distancing.

In addition to these changes we continue to accept drop offs and/or you can send your tax information to us via email or fax.
